“Arrowrock”, after Choate, 9×12 oil on canvas, by Rog Lyngaas, 21may07, using choate7 non-toxic palette with zinc white for the mixing white.

Arrowrock reservior is a location I like to sit and paint. It is close enough to Boise where I can leasurely go up there for the day, generate 2 paintings while still fishing. There rarely are many motor boats on this lake, so it is more asthetically pleasing. It sure is a lazy man’s way to plein air paint. This is where you see me in the “Greetings Guests!” webpage. This is the only painting that I have done [so far] using pure Zinc White without Titanium. It has dried well, as it was painted a year ago.
