Is Fall a Disease?

“Border of the Fall”, 8×10 oil on canvas board, study, by Rog Lyngaas, 5nov08, using Choate7 palette with Manganese Blue Hue as the warm blue.

This is the second version of a theme. The first was called something like “Expansion via Reflection”. This version imagines that from North to South, as Fall takes its grip on Summer; there exists a border between the two. The border here is obvious. Downstream from this locale, to the South; the grass is greener, the elevation is lower, the trees have more fruit, and the fish are more a jumpin’. Could Fall be a disease that spreads; changing the world, briefly?
